Construction Graduate Required
Due to continuous growth and contract awards we are seeking a Construction Graduate to help deliver current and future projects in the UK and Ireland. We carry out works in various sectors: educational, industrial & commercial, fitout, healthcare, ecclesiastical, hotels and leisure.
The Role
Devlin Mechanical Ltd have ambitious plans therefore we are seeking a Construction Graduate who we hope will play an important part of our team to ensure our clients’ needs are met.
Working alongside more senior members of staff your role will be to ensure that multiple Mechanical projects are delivered to the required standards, on budget, on time and to the client’s requirements. You will be working on projects ranging in values between £20,000 and £800,000.
You will also be responsible for:
- Planning pre-installation activities
- Attend site meetings prior to the installation
- Manage the relationship with the client
- Production of as-installed drawings
- Co-ordination with suppliers ensuring materials and equipment arrive onsite allow the efficient execution of works
- Communicate project progress with project team and directors
- Problem solving while the installations take place
- Create and complete O&M manuals
Experience
- Construction related Degree or equivalent
- Technically minded with a good understanding of building/mechanical installations
- Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and AutoCAD proficient
